If less fuel is burned, doesn't that mean my vehicle will have less power?
Less fuel is consumed in a TADGER-equipped vehicle because a greater percentage of fuel is burnt during the combustion process. This means that a vehicle will travel further with the same amount of fuel.

Does the TADGER work on all engines?
Yes. TADGERs have been installed on all makes and models of gas and diesel engines, both mobile and stationary, regardless of engine age.

What is the TADGER made of?
It’s made of solid 360 alloy brass and 6061-T6 aluminum. Both are very durable materials that will not rust or corrode. There are no moving parts, so there is nothing to maintain.

Where is the TADGER installed?
The TADGER is installed on the input fuel line prior to the fuel injectors and after the primary/secondary fuel pump and/or filter, if possible. The TADGER installation is as unique as your engine. Our installation associates will assist you in identifying the optimal installation point for your engine.

How long does it take to install a TADGER?
Typical installations take 20-40 minutes. Our installation associates only use custom-made kits, which reduce the installation time significantly

Will I need to purchase any additional parts?
If you plan to install the TADGER yourself, you will not need fittings, hoses or clamps. Our installation associates will help you identify the correct set-up for your application. Our installation associates provide you with a turnkey installation process.

Does the TADGER require any maintenance?
No. The TADGER has no moving parts. Due to engine vibration, you may periodically check the tightness of the fittings.

Do I need to adjust my carburetor or fuel injectors?
No adjustments are necessary to see improvement, as long as the engine is well tuned in the first place.

Does the TADGER restrict the fuel flow?
No, there is no restriction to fuel flow.

Does the TADGER add or remove anything from the fuel?
No. The TADGER only creates a controlled turbulence. Nothing is added or removed.

How soon can I expect results?
Emission reductions can be witnessed immediately, based on extensive testing. Mileage improvements are achieved immediately, as demonstrated by laboratory tests. Road tests show that mileage improvements vary, depending on the age and condition of the engine, and the amount and type of driving.

How much improvement can I expect?
This depends on the size and type of the engine, mode of driving, whether city or highway, and weather conditions. I installed the TADGER on my recreation vehicle, a 1987 34-foot Pace Arrow motor home built by Fleetwood Enterprises Incorporated. It has a Chevrolet chassis and a Chevrolet 454-cubic inch standard carburetion V8 truck engine. The motor home weighs on the order of 15,000 pounds loaded. With the instructions you provided with the TADGER I had no problems installing it. It is located within 5 inches of the carburetor. How does the TADGER clean the engine?
Your engine builds up carbon and varnish deposits due to incomplete combustion, or improper burning. Molecules that are non-homogeneous are found in both gasoline and diesel fuel. As these molecules begin to cluster and grow, some molecules become trapped during combustion. Air is unable to reach the trapped molecules, which do not burn completely. Instead they are expelled into the atmosphere or retained as carbon/varnish deposits inside your engine.

 

The story behind TADGER “Everybody keeps beating up the environment,” said Doug Scouten. “We can point our fingers at industry, but maybe the whole of us are polluters, so maybe the whole of us are responsible? I’m always interested in improving the environment; my Native American background inspired me.” Living in Niagara Falls, Doug saw the dramatic effects of turbulence on water, and what happens to liquid when it’s treated so roughly “I worked around motors and fuel and wondered what could be done individually. I wanted to make fuel burn more efficiently.” It had to be done with no moving parts, so it wouldn’t wear out. It had to be adaptable to any engine, burning any fuel. And it had to affordable and easy to install. Fuel is inefficient. Fuel itself is used to cool down an engine; it’s only in the process a few milliseconds. When there’s a chemical reaction it comes off as expansion of energy, sound, heat, and some of it is wasted. “Think of eight or 10 drops of fuel, and put them in an engine cylinder head,” said Doug. “These aren’t exact numbers, but you might burn three of them.” But if you increase the window to burn more of the fuel, you’re going to bend rods and burn the engine. You could increase the compression ratio, but then it would run hot. So add octane, and blow in air, either via a turbocharger or supercharger. Except the average person can’t do that, because it’s too expensive. However, if you can improve combustion without making engine or fuel modifications, the result is more economy and lower emissions “You need to put fuel into the engine in an excited state, where it is better able to burn,” Doug said. “We’re not talking about going from a little to a huge explosion; we’re simply improving it a little bit.”   “Each engine is individual. By experimenting, I found it was removing carbon buildup from the engine. Then by removing the soot and dirt, it allows your oil to work more efficiently. Your water jacket works more efficiently. You’re just tweaking things a little bit here and there, to make it more efficient.” Why do you want to push linear fuel down the line? Turbulence usually puts stress on things. But by beginning the turbulence right before the engine manifold, it enhances the fuel’s ability to mix with air. “After we proved it works on a carburetor, I gave it to very skeptical people. They said, “Yeah, but it won’t work on a fuel injector.” And so I didn’t stand over it, I came back days later and they said, “Hey, it worked.“ A physicist laughed at Doug’s patent. But after he saw the results, he said, “We never thought of doing it before the fuel.” “It’s not the way most designer’s work,” said Doug. “Are there other things that work? Sure. But fuel is easily manipulated. “ “Using this technology, which is as simple as putting on a fuel filter, now you are reducing; each one of us contributes when we drive to school or work. That’s the one thing this unit gives us all the ability to do.” “I think that if you make the technology available to the common folks and they can easily add it on, they will. When will the TADGER not work?

1. When installed in the wrong location
2. When installed backwards, with the actual fuel flow opposite to the direction of the "Flow" arrow on the TADGER.
3. When it has not been given enough time for the clean-burn effect to take place.
   
   The clean burn effect is the time the Tadger takes to burn out any existing carbon build up in the engine. Independent testers have found immediate emission changes when a TADGER is installed. Sometimes emissions go down and sometimes they go up. Increased emissions usually mean see the engine is very old and/or the engine does a lot of idling or stop-and-go work. It also means that the carbon needs to be burned out. And when it is, the emissions are reduced.

Bubbles around a boat propeller can cause what is known as "cavitation", creating a condition in which power is lost. Could the same thing happen in a fuel line?
No, because the fuel pump maintains constant pressure in the fuel line, which provides constant fuel flow to the engine. The only change is in the Reynolds Number of the fuel.

Why don't engine manufacturers use the TADGER for new engines?
TADGER Group International will not approach the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) with this patented technology. We have established ourselves as an aftermarket distribution source and are here to serve our clients in that capacity. Our goal is to help protect our customer's current asset. Government regulations are forcing OEMs to produce cleaner burning engines on a large scale. We will help our customers recoup some of the losses in efficiency from these new engines.

Will the TADGER void any engine manufacturers warranties?
No. Since TADGER is a retrofit device similar to an in-line fuel filter the manufacturers warranty is not affected. Your TADGER representative has written documentation with respect to warranties.

Shouldn't every vehicle have a TADGER? If everybody was saving money on fuel, wouldn't that would be a good thing?
Yes, you're right; it would be good for everybody. Everybody that is, EXCEPT the fuel companies.
