How It Works: As fuel enters the TADGER, fuel velocity is increased (Continuity Equation & Bernoulli Equation). The fuel continues through the TADGER and passes over two baffles fixed at 90 degrees to each other. This section also increases the fuel velocity, while creating an initial disruption in the viscous forces (laminar flow). Fuel then enters a fixed Venturi configuration, causing fluid inertia to further disrupt the already disrupted flow. A non-dimensional Reynolds Number expresses the factor that determines which type of flow is present in the ratio of inertia forces to viscous forces within the fluid. Fluid flows are laminar for Reynolds Numbers up to 2000, and completely turbulent beyond a Reynolds Number of 4000. The fuel flow exiting the TADGER exhibits a controlled turbulence, with a Reynolds Number between 2000 and 4000. This controlled turbulence increases the spray angle and decreases the droplet size. As smaller fuel molecules are exposed to oxygen, more of the fuel is burnt. |
What benefits will you receive from a TADGER?
Doesn't the performance claim of the TADGER unit sound too good to be true?
We've conducted over 100 client case studies, and are completing more every month. Studies range in duration from one day to 18 months. The results are consistent and repeatable.
If less fuel is burned, doesn't that mean my vehicle will have less power?
Less fuel is consumed in a TADGER-equipped vehicle because a greater percentage of fuel is burnt during the combustion process. This means that a vehicle will travel further with the same amount of fuel.
If it’s so good, why haven’t I heard of this before?
The TADGER Group has been testing and selling TADGER around the world for six years. The results of numerous tests are in, so you’re hearing about it now.

"So far I've had good results, 0.7mpg over a whole year, and we do 70,000 miles per year. Even if we only did 30,000 miles per year it's well worth it. Ours is a lot of short haul stuff. Over the road long distance it would make even more sense." - Tim Lubbers, owner, Busscher's Septic Services, Holland MI |
Does the TADGER work on all engines?
Yes. TADGERs have been installed on all makes and models of gas and diesel engines, both mobile and stationary, regardless of engine age.
Doug Scouten invented and patented TADGER for individuals who wanted to contribute towards the environment, no matter what type of vehicles they drove. His goal was to enable cleaner burning engines of all types and ages. To him, saving fuel was merely a bonus.
|
"If you can reduce each individual’s contribution to pollution it’s much better for all of us. Reducing the cost of fuel is just a side benefit." Doug Scouten, TADGER inventor |

What is the TADGER made of?
It’s made of solid 360 alloy brass and 6061-T6 aluminum. Both are very durable materials that will not rust or corrode. There are no moving parts, so there is nothing to maintain.
Where is the TADGER installed?
The TADGER is installed on the input fuel line prior to the fuel injectors and after the primary/secondary fuel pump and/or filter, if possible. The TADGER installation is as unique as your engine. Our installation associates will assist you in identifying the optimal installation point for your engine.
How long does it take to install a TADGER?
Typical installations take 20-40 minutes. Our installation associates only use custom-made kits, which reduce the installation time significantly
Will I need to purchase any additional parts?
If you plan to install the TADGER yourself, you will not need fittings, hoses or clamps. Our installation associates will help you identify the correct set-up for your application. Our installation associates provide you with a turnkey installation process.
Does the TADGER require any maintenance?
No. The TADGER has no moving parts. Due to engine vibration, you may periodically check the tightness of the fittings.
Do I need to adjust my carburetor or fuel injectors?
No adjustments are necessary to see improvement, as long as the engine is well tuned in the first place.
Does the TADGER restrict the fuel flow?
No, there is no restriction to fuel flow.
Does the TADGER add or remove anything from the fuel?
No. The TADGER only creates a controlled turbulence. Nothing is added or removed.
How soon can I expect results?
Emission reductions can be witnessed immediately, based on extensive testing.
Mileage improvements are achieved immediately, as demonstrated by laboratory tests. Road tests show that mileage improvements vary, depending on the age and condition of the engine, and the amount and type of driving.
How much improvement can I expect?
This depends on the size and type of the engine, mode of driving, whether city or highway, and weather conditions. See the Independent Test Summary Sheets on our website (TADGERgroup.com) for actual results.
Scientific testing has shown increased performance (horsepower) and extended oil life. Any fuel savings claimed by users are not necessarily valid unless controlled fuel tests are carried out with a proven reliable protocol.
How soon will the TADGER unit pay for itself?
The return on investment is directly proportional to the amount of driving you do and the price you pay for fuel. Users have reported that the TADGER was paid back between 3 and 15 months.

If you burn 100 gallons per week...
...with a TADGER you're now using only 95 gallons. At $3 per gallon, that's $15 a week; $60 a month; $720 a year that stays in your pocket. Then multiply that by how many vehicles are in your household. |
Will the use of fuel additives or bio-diesel fuel affect TADGER performance?
Yes. It has been proven that the TADGER will complement any type of additive or bio-diesel. TADGER performance is enhanced as the quality of the fuel is enhanced.
My vehicle is leased. If I put a TADGER on it, what happens when the lease is up?
When the lease is up, simply remove the TADGER and install it on your next vehicle.

"I am sending you this letter because I had to let you know my experience with your TADGER. I installed the TADGER on my recreation vehicle, a 1987 34-foot Pace Arrow motor home built by Fleetwood Enterprises Incorporated. It has a Chevrolet chassis and a Chevrolet 454-cubic inch standard carburetion V8 truck engine. The motor home weighs on the order of 15,000 pounds loaded.
With the instructions you provided with the TADGER I had no problems installing it. It is located within 5 inches of the carburetor. When driving the RV, I immediately noticed an improvement in performance. The RV engine started easier and ran better with a noticeable increase in power. On our first trip, which was over 2000 miles, I also realized an increase in fuel economy. I would be willing to certify that I realized an increase of 10% in fuel economy but I feel it was more like 15%. The reasons I feel it could be more is because this trip involved more mountainous driving than most of our previous trips, in hotter weather causing the twin engine cooling fans to cycle much more than normal, and we used our 6.5 kilowatt generator, which is fueled from the same gas tank as the engine, much more than normal. The increase in performance was very noticeable because of the mountainous driving. I am sure as we take more trips with the RV, I will be in a better position to say more precisely what the increase in performance including fuel economy is. I have been recommending the TADGER to my RV friends and am planning on purchasing another unit or two from you to install on our cars. Both of our cars have fuel injection engines, one a 4 and the other a V8. I feel you have a very useful and worthwhile product. " - Merve Hardman, Florida |

How does the TADGER clean the engine?
Your engine builds up carbon and varnish deposits due to incomplete combustion, or improper burning. Molecules that are non-homogeneous are found in both gasoline and diesel fuel. As these molecules begin to cluster and grow, some molecules become trapped during combustion. Air is unable to reach the trapped molecules, which do not burn completely. Instead they are expelled into the atmosphere or retained as carbon/varnish deposits inside your engine.

The story behind TADGER
“Everybody keeps beating up the environment,” said Doug Scouten.

“Each engine is individual. By experimenting, I found it was removing carbon buildup from the engine. Then by removing the soot and dirt, it allows your oil to work more efficiently. Your water jacket works more efficiently. You’re just tweaking things a little bit here and there, to make it more efficient.”

When will the TADGER not work?
Bubbles around a boat propeller can cause what is known as "cavitation", creating a condition in which power is lost. Could the same thing happen in a fuel line?
No, because the fuel pump maintains constant pressure in the fuel line, which provides constant fuel flow to the engine. The only change is in the Reynolds Number of the fuel.

Why don't engine manufacturers use the TADGER for new engines?
TADGER Group International will not approach the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) with this patented technology. We have established ourselves as an aftermarket distribution source and are here to serve our clients in that capacity. Our goal is to help protect our customer's current asset. Government regulations are forcing OEMs to produce cleaner burning engines on a large scale. We will help our customers recoup some of the losses in efficiency from these new engines.
Will the TADGER void any engine manufacturers warranties?
No. Since TADGER is a retrofit device similar to an in-line fuel filter the manufacturers warranty is not affected. Your TADGER representative has written documentation with respect to warranties.
Shouldn't every vehicle have a TADGER? If everybody was saving money on fuel, wouldn't that would be a good thing?
Yes, you're right; it would be good for everybody. Everybody that is, EXCEPT the fuel companies.

|
"You're saving fuel, and you're saving the environment, big time. So it's good for me and it's good for you, basically. That's what it comes down to. The only person it's not good for is the fuel company, because we're not using as much of their product." - Don Gritter, Maintenance Manager, Chef Container, Holland MI |
If every vehicle had a TADGER, the oil company profits would drop. Fuel companies have a LOT of power. For example, the White House and presidential cabinet are full of petrochemical company employees and shareholders..
Are the fuel companies going to stop the one thing that you can use to slow the flow of your hard-earned dollars out of your pockets and into theirs?
Or are they going to come along and BUY the entire TADGER Group, just so you can't have a chance to save some money every month?

So far they haven’t called. They already have a lot of YOUR DOLLARS they can use for any purpose. Isn't it time you kept all of YOUR MONEY from going into your fuel tank?
You'll experience reduced emissions, extended oil life, and improved mileage with a TADGER.

"I'm slightly afraid of publishing these results, as they appear almost unbelievable. I'm worried some jealous person will petition a government agency to try and shut us down." - John Mogford, TADGER President |

Most Guarantees have disappeared! Many of those that remain try to trap you with weasel words and difficult conditions.
We don't operate like that. We want you to have confidence with this product. We want you to save money and put less crud into the air. After all, we breathe air too.

|
"You put it on the vehicle and it works, you buy it. If you don't get the minimum fuel saving, they take it back. The guarantee was the convincing point. If it doesn't work, the only thing lost is time with the salesman, not big bucks. That's not how society normally works. It's a good guarantee."
